Uniting her background in traditional Spanish music and American Jazz with a Brazilian rhythm from her talented bass player and producer, Antonio de Sant'anna, Marta creates an innovative blend of Old World seduction and raw passion of Carnival.Born in Seville, Spain, Marta moved to Los Angeles to study film at UCLA.
In the summer of 2003 she caught the eye, and ear, of BSS Records president David Barberis, who instantly recognized her cross-cultural appeal."Marta dominates the stage with her sultry presence and immediately captures the attention of her audience.
